A total of 3,648 individuals from various sectors in Bataan received Php5,000.00 each in cash under the Tulong Panghanapbuhay sa Ating Disadvantaged/Displaced Workers (TUPAD) flagship program of the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) on January 15, 2024 at the Bataan People’s Center.

The TUPAD program aims to provide emergency employment for displaced workers, underemployed individuals, and seasonal workers for a minimum of 10 working days, depending on the nature of the assigned tasks.
The implementation of this program is spearheaded by the DOLE Bataan Provincial Field Office in collaboration with the Public Employment Service Office (PESO) Bataan. Part of the funds came from the offices of Senators Loren Legarda and Bong Go.
